The resort is great and probably one of the nicest ones our club has ever stayed. They are taking reservations now until December 1. There is a 7 day cancellation policy.
The rooms are large and spacious. The resort is owned by the state of Georgia so they are extremely careful with their COVID procedures. Masks and social distancing are practiced. We were happy to learn that each guest room receives a second cleaning before each guest arrives.
Please identify yourself as part of the block of rooms under Atlanta Classic Thunderbird Club.
Standard room (includes resort fee) $124.00
Includes microwave and refrigerator
There is a restaurant onsite to order breakfast or you can plan whatever in your room.
Drinks and Alcohol will be BYOB.
Don’t forget to register at the website that you will be attending.

Thursday Breakfast on your own at the hotel or local restaurant
At 10:00 AM we plan to visit Memory Lanes car museum. This museum was previously located in Oconee, GA and was moved by the owner to this area. They are opening the museum at that time exclusively for us.
We will then visit the Crane Creek Winery for a wine tasting and have reservations for lunch. Tables of 4 will be setup so you can social distance for lunch outside in a covered pavilion.
If time permits we can go to Alexander's store. This is a fantastic store with plenty of items for the ladies and the guys. Men's and ladies apparel, furniture, large shoe department, Christmas gifts etc. For the guys Alexanders has a large sportsman department. Large gun selection and ammo selection. I found the ammo to be the cheapest I have seen. Most guys should enjoy this area.
Dinner will be at the hotel dining room.
We have a large room reserved from 5pm till 10 pm at the hotel for our gift exchange and plenty of social distancing area.
Please bring a gift for the gift exchange for each person that will be participating in the exchange. Gifts can be labeled for man or woman but do not have to be if you do not want to. Gifts should not exceed $20. The funnier, the better if that is your desire. Some gifts from prior years will be re-gifted, and some will be practical. Your choice on what to bring.
Friday, December 11
Check out is 12:00 PM and you could leave at your leisure.
