Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday by participating in the Wookstock July 4th Spectacular Parade with us!
You participate by:
- driving your car in the parade
- watching the parade
- joining the group for lunch
For club members driving your car in the parade:
The parade starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 4, 2026. It begins at Woodstock Elementary School at 230 Rope Mill Road, Woodstock, GA. 30188 and travels down Rope Mill Road to Main Street. There it heads south on Main Street and ends at Sam’s Club just before Highway 92. The parade is approximately 1.3 miles long and will end at approximately 11:15 AM.
We will meet at 9:00 AM at The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, 915 Ridgewalk Parkway, Woodstock, GA. 30188. It is located at Exit 9 off I-575. Plan to be at the Puma and Vans stores near the south end of the mall. There is an access road to Rope Mill Road and it is a 5 minute drive to the Woodstock Elementary School. When all members of the club have arrived, we will caravan to the school.
Parade line up is first come, first served at the school and ends at 9:30 AM. If we are late to the staging location, they will not accept our cars in the parade. The parade will start promptly at 10:00 AM rain or shine.
The City of Woodstock requires registration entries on their website for each car participating in the parade.
The club will not be able to register your car with the city of Woodstock. They require each driver to register and sign appropriate waivers for the parade.

If your car is not on the parade registration site as entered for the parade, your car will be turned away. The parade is limited to 111 participants. There are a some spots left, so getting registered ASAP is encouraged if you want to participate.
A waiver signed by ALL participants riding or walking in the parade MUST be turned in at the start of the parade. We will have the waiver available for signatures at the meeting location. We will also have a parade announcement form ready to give to the officials so that our club will be recognized in front of the judging stand.
Candy throwing is permitted with some restrictions. Toss or roll the candy to the curb so kids don’t run into the street. You may also walk the parade to pass out candy.
Decorations are REQUIRED in keeping with the spirit of the parade. The only exceptions to this rule are antique vehicles. Don’t forget to put your ACTC magnets on your car for the parade.
The parade ends at Sams Club and there will be directions into Sams to pick up walkers, disassemble your car, etc. If you do not need to stop at Sams, you can just drive straight to Highway 92 and be on your way.
For club members watching the parade:
We will meet at 9:00 AM at The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, 915 Ridgewalk Parkway, Woodstock, GA. 30188. It is located at Exit 9 off I-575. Plan to be at the Puma and Vans stores near the south end of the mall.
You may then carpool to a convenient location to park and enjoy the parade.
For club members joining for lunch after the parade:
We plan to have lunch at the Rally Point Grille which is next to Sams Club. The address is 10009 Hwy 92, Woodstock, GA 30188. 770-672-0026. If you are not participating in the parade, you can join us there for lunch at 12:00 Noon. Just let Jack or Becky know that you are lunch only so we have an accurate count for the reservation at the restaurant.
